Birds of prey

My observations show that birds of prey are rare. I did not always observe them even though I looked for them. These are my observations. On 4-14-99 I saw a Peregrine Falcon. It was in Arbutus outside of my school. The time I saw it was 2:15 p.m. On 5-1-99 I saw 1 Osprey and 2 bald Eagles. On 5-8-99 I say 2 Ospreys and 7 Turkey Vultures. These sightings were also in the State Park.

In conclusion, I think we should protect birds of prey more. We should also take well care of our environment. We need to make sure we do not destroy their habitat, and we do not pollute the water they get their food from. If you are interested in helping them, you should contact State Parks, or Wild life organizations. You can also learn more about birds of prey on the Internet, or through your public library. The more we know about birds of prey the more we can learn to protect them.
