Baseball Power By Travis and John

For our investigation we are comparing baseball corks and testing their durability.

Our purpose is to discover whether baseball companies advertise truthfully and what baseball company has the most durable baseball. The baseball we are testing are Spalding,Franklin,Dunlop,Rawlings,and Wilson.

Our hypothesisis is that Rawlings baseballs are the best because they make special corks for their baseballs that are tough.

Our Procedure

1. Take five different brands of baseballs. (Spalding,Rawlings,Franklin,Dunlop,and Wilson)

2. Take five different liquids, (coke, vineagar,waterjuice, milk)

3.Each liquid should be filled up 250ml in a measuring beaker.

4.Wait 5 days then check the baseball corks in the liquids.Record your data. Conclusion so far..............

In one test we took the baseball cork from inside the baseball and put it in CocaCola.The CocaCola was absorbed by the baseball cork.(Rawlings) So far we found that some baseball corks got soggy from the liquids.
