High Flying Out of Sight
Pocket Flyers!

This is our topic of airplanes, we are trying to see how far the airplanes we made can go. We chose this topic because we like airplanes. They are made out of paper. We had different styles. This is why we chose airplanes.
These are some questions we asked. One of them was how far they go. Another was how much they weighed. We thought it was a good idea because some people might want to know and they were important. These were the questions we asked.
This is what we learned from other references. We learned that gravity pulls down the airplanes. Also real airplanes have weight just like our paper airplanes. Next we learned that flaps make airplanes turn. As you can see we learned a lot about airplanes with many references.
This is what we did to find the answer to our question “What paper airplane goes the farthest”. First we laid down yard sticks. Then we threw the planes, finally we measured how far they went. Then we tried it again and again until we did two more times. Then, as you can see we did a lot in our experiment to find the answer.
This is what we learned from our experiment. One thing was the weight, Buz weighed 2 grams; Mummy weighed 1 and 1/8 of a gram; Talon weighed 1 and 1/8th of a gram. They each have two paper clips. Buz went 16/16 yards; Mummy went 16/18 yards; Talon went 14/25 Yard. This is what we learned.
This is some things you might want to try. Try to test the plains (sic) with no weight. Also test them with a lot of weigh (sic). Next weigh the plains, then put six paper clips on it then weigh them again. We hope you try our ideas.
