The topic of my investigation is rabbits. I chose this topic because rabbits are fun and they don't scratch very much. I did not want to spend a lot of money. I have a rabbit. My family was given several rabbits. I was lucky that one of the rabbits had babies. That is why I wanted to do rabbits.
I am trying to answer three questions. My questions are: how much food and water does a rabbit eat and drink in 31 days? Will a rabbit grow? How do you take care of a rabbit? I thought of this because I have rabbits.
Others have discovered that you can tell what sex it is if you look at their body. Rabbits are friendly and nice. Rabbits have teeth. Rabbits do not bite unless you get them mad. A rabbit's teeth keep on growing. Rabbits have to chew on a salty toy.
To answer my questions I first checked my rabbit in the morning and afternoon. Next I wrote down the information. Later I weighed my rabbit.
I learned that my rabbit drank between 21 and 29 ounces of water every day. A baby rabbit eats all its food in the morning. Baby rabbits are not used to people and are afraid of other animals like cats. I did not a chance to weigh my rabbit.
Next year students might want to answer: how old is a rabbit when it is able to have babies? Someone could also see if different breeds of rabbits grow differently.
