Pendulum Art

by: David D. and Adam M.

We chose to do a Hands on activity on Pendulum Art. We chose this topic because we did Pedulum Art in class. It looked fun so we decided to have a Hands on project it.

We got all of our background information from when we tried Pedulum Art in class. We will have a station where you can make Pedulum Art by following our steps.

First, we punched a hole in each side of the top of the cup. Next, we tied string through the two holes and taped the other of the string to a desk. Then, we put paint in the cup and place a paper underneath. Finally, we swung the cup over the paper to creat a creative design.

We discovered Pedulum Art is fairly easy. We also learned art can be defined as little tiny dots on a sheet of paper.

If you plan to carry out our Hands on project next year, you might try to use different materials. You might do art with a ball of paint.
