Heavy Heavy Liquids!

Our KIC topic is on liquids and how much they weigh. We came up with this idea by asking the question, "Why do liquids stay on top of each other in a glass?"

Materials A glass 1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup green dyed milk 1/2 cup blue dyed water 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup measuring cup

The Procedure....

Take the glass and put it on a flat, firm table. Then take the 1/2 cup-measuring cup and put 1/2 cup honey in the glass followed by 1/2 cup dyed milk, 1/2 cup dyed water and 1/2 cup vegetable oil. Let it sit for two days and see the results!

Results!!!!

The results we had are honey was the heaviest then came milk, then water, and lastly came vegetable oil!
