Writing It Down, Writing It Up

How do we encourage and assist
students in writing informative, engaging, and useful scientific
reports? In this session we will examine how a scaffolded process
approach to writing can help students report their work. Specifically,
we will consider the usefulness of student writing conferences, the
role of feedback and revision, and various ways to publish student work.
