Creating Information Literate, Critical Readers: Science Texts in Elementary Classrooms

Technological tools involving
computers and networking have become increasingly important for both
practicing scientists and for the teaching of science inquiry in the
upper-elementary and middle schools. This presentation will explore
ways that teachers can facilitate students becoming effective, critical
users of computer and networking technologies for search, analysis, and
representation of findings in science.
